It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish School and serve you in the spirit of our founders St. Vincent DePaul, St. Louise DeMarillac, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Sixty years ago, under the pastoral leadership of the Vincentian priests, the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent DePaul founded our parish school. During the founding year of 1954, the school consisted of only 5 classrooms in the primary grades K-2. Since then our school has grown to a double class per grade school serving students in K-8, as well as offers a fully licensed Pre-Kindergarten program.
As an alumnus of our school (known then as “Marian School”) I remain committed to continuing the legacy of our founders. I am truly grateful for the gifts of faith, Vincentian spirit, discipline, academic intellect, and well-roundedness that the leadership of the Daughters of Charity has offered me throughout my years as a student. As principal, I vow to offer all students those same gifts that were bestowed to me, by inspiring the faculty, staff, parents, parishioners and all community members of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal to be the best models possible. Our children are the future! It is our responsibility to both inspire and equip them to make the world better.
I am proud to say that Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal School has a long and strong tradition of surpassing this responsibility and sending our alumni out into the world to make a huge and positive difference! Our students exude confidence, leadership, academic excellence, innovation, faith, and service. I urge you to stop by our school and witness first hand this great work in action and I challenge you to decide too how you can make a positive difference!
